Bullguard Review – Is it Worth the Price?


Bullguard is a robust security suite that covers all bases. It’s not as feature-rich however, it’s an excellent solution for those looking to get more out of their anti-virus software. It’s also efficient with resources that helps to reduce the load on your system, while providing a range of options to reduce it when it is needed.

The program is accessed via an open-ended hub that has an organized layout of its modules. They include firewalls, antivirus PC tune-up, game boosters, and home network scanners. The «Vulnerabilities section will alert you to problems like missing Windows updates, autostart service and open ports. The «Game Booster», a feature that optimizes your system automatically when you play, is helpful for gamers.

In our tests, we found that bullguard was pretty effective in preventing malware infections, and was quite low on system resources compared to other products in terms of CPU usage. However, we did notice that the background processes of the antivirus ate up a considerable amount of RAM, especially on systems with limited memory. Additionally, certain elements of the hub app looked blurred on high-resolution displays.
